I just don't understand why most of the covers are from dusty old metal bands. With HF they sound good, but the original versions sound lots of time a bit mid-quality.

I agree on not liking the originals.
But the reason simply is because thats the stuff they listened and propably still listen when they were young and getting into metal.

Yes indeed. But I also think it's good that HammerFall makes more modern versions of the songs.

That song would be so perfect to be a HammerFall cover :o

That is the one indeed. :)

I was hopping around on YouTube the other day and came across some old Triumph, Fight the Good Fight. Immediately thought to myself "I'd love to hear Joacim sing that." Yes, I know, Triumph was a three piece, but when has twice the guitar ever hurt? Especially talented guitar, right?

And I agree, Send Me An Angel would be a wonderful song to hear them cover.

Don't be so modest, most of the time the original is better than the cover. Except in HF's case maybe...

I wonder how it would be like if they made a cover of "nothing else matters" with Metallica? I think that Joacim would bring out his voice orderly!

On a rope by Rocket from the Crypt. It would sound so much better if Hammerfall would cover it! :D
