Re: What makes you happy? Get well soon  It would be nice if there was an effective cure for the mexican flu (as it's called here). Can't tell you if it makes me happy, you'll see that, the first day I don't have to worry about that anymore, I die in a car accident

Re: What makes you happy? I intend to!!!! i have the stinky cold, my 2 year old has the chickenpox, she caught it from her 5 year old sister who had it 2 weeks ago............2 grumpy people together......

Re: What makes you happy? This nice soft steady rain makes me very happy! We've been in extreme drought condition for a while, water restrictions, some of the smaller communities have had to truck in their water. The recent rains have taken us from extreme to severe, and almost to moderate. Still need good slow rain, like today, to let it soak down into the water table and really make a difference.
So even though it means my yard, which is already overgrown, will turn into a hip high field quickly, I'm still very happy for the rain!
ETA: And yes, this does mean I'll have to remember to spray again for the buggies when the sun shines good again. But who cares, its RAIN!!!
