What was the last album you bought?
What was the last album you purchased, and what do you think of it? Good points, bad points, price?
The last two I bought were:
Joe Bonamassa - The Ballad of John Henry (£7.99)
A blues/rock album from a until now little known musician. Incredible album, with a lot of emotional guitar work and some brilliant covers! The only downside is that it ends. Recommended.
Rondellus - Sabbatum (£7.99)
This is a medieval tribute to Black Sabbath, with songs like Warpigs, Spiral Architect and The Wizard. It is incredible: all chanting and choral singing, harps, drums and lutes. All the lyrics have been transcribed in old English so you have no idea what they're going on about. Incredible!

I Bought HammerFall - No Sacrifice, No Victory and paid almost the double price at a place, when I got home I went in to a small gas station and noticed they had the same CD with 60 % off the price I paid, 10% below the original price... So I got mad. But It is a great album Don't even remember what I bought before that one

Re: What was the last album you bought?
Besides No Sacrifice, No Victory yesterday on itunes, I bought Star One - Space Metal. Although I'm a huge fan of Ayreon, Star One wasn't that great. Too many synthesizers, it felt a bit like too much noise. Still there are some brilliant pieces of music, so I don't regret buying it at all.
I guess before that it was Saint Deamon - In Shadows Lost From The Brave. Now that is what I call great Power Metal with great memorable moments, heavy guitars and great bass rythms, leave alone the amazing vocals of the ex-singer of Highland Glory. Ok, they surely didn't reinvent the (metal) wheel, but this band deserves all praise it can get.

Nile - In Their Darkened Shrines. Really like this one, it has a really "sandy" sound... Torture Killer - Sewers.

I bought Symphony of Enchanted Lands of Rhapsody just now. I'll only need to buy some new cd-cases tomorrow, because the original case was broken. I only made it worse when I wanted to get the rear-cover out.
