To all of you in Europe...
I'd like to know price for tickets, cd's and dvd's in Europe, 'cause I think we are paying too much in Serbia. For example: cd's are between 20-25 euros, dvd's 26-30 euros, concert tickets between 16 and 30 euros.

Re: To all of you in Europe...
We doesn't have the same value in Sweden, we has keeped our own value. But I believe that 1 euro is ten kronor (our value) to us. Ten coins. But to us, concert tickets can cost, if i'm thinking in your value, 30-40 euros, sometimes it's so much more. It's very expensive to get a ticket to a concert where a big famous band, at least a popular one, are playing. Maybe it's the same cost everywhere, it's just the value which get it more expensive than it looks?

Cds Well you can find most of the records for 5-15€ and new ones 16-19€ when they are released but most drop quite quickly. These are the prices if you know where to get them from. If you aren't afraid of buying used ones (my store offers two months of time when you can return it to the store whenever you want and get your money back if it is working but has some issue. and six months if it breaks.) you may get some real bargains with prices usually between 5 and 7.50€ DvDs I usually don't put so much money into those but I do plan to and I regularily check the prices. HF dvds are 11.90-18.90€ and other DvDs I have checked are usually about 20 and mostly a bit less. Tickets I have no idea since I don't go to shows.

Re: To all of you in Europe...
Belgian prices... they aren't the cheapest, I know in Germany everything is a little cheaper (but that's because in Belgium there is a 21% VAT and in Germany there is a 19% VAT).
CDs: new cds cost averagely 20 to 25 euros. Once they are older or less in demand they get cheaper. DVDs: new dvds cost averagely 20 - 25 euros, the special editions cost 25 - 30 euros. But with BluRay now, the dvds get cheaper soon. BluRays cost more, of course, they are around 25 - 30 euros. Tickets: there is a very broad range in ticket prices, they can be anything in between 5 and 100 (or more) euros. But for shows like Hammerfall it's usually somewhere around 20 to 25 euros. The bigger bands cost more, of course. My Motörhead ticket cost me 40 euros, Deep Purple cost me 46 euros. Tina Turner cost me around 80 euros.

That's really hard to say. Do you mean a specific CD or DVD? Average CD price 7-20 Euro (depending on the CD or band)
Tickets...ummm, for example: Dragonforce 22-30€, Sonata Arctica 27-32 Euro, Muse 53 €, AC/DC- 82 €

@LLMWL: Well, I know that, for example Dimmu Borgir and Amon Amarth ticket for concert in Slovenia was 11 euros and here in Belgrade just Amon Amarth was 20 euros. If we concider that everage alary in Serbia is 400 euros, that price is too high. We can not buy new metal cd or dvd in stores because there is no legal distribution. even few stores are distributing metal merch, and since there is no control, price can be even 2 or 3 times higher. Anyway, all we can do is wait concerts and buy merch from bands.

@Sanya: ok, I need to ask you one more question. What is everage alary in Germany? If we compare prices, we should know how much money we can earn for month here and there, right?
@Mayhem: Thanks for offer, but postage costs more than cd. Some other time, maybe. My best friend moved to Sweden recently, so I will reccomand him your store. Fer enough?

Re: To all of you in Europe...
It depends on the store here in Holland. My most regular one sells CDs at a normal price of €18 or less (sometimes €19 or €20, but that's quite rare). I know one store where I bought Legacy of Kings for €5, just to give you an idea of the differences. I also saw The Templar Renegade Crusades there for €15. Maybe you could find a cheap store too?

Re: To all of you in Europe...
There are no cheaper stores here. Since there is no law, stores are compiting how can reach the highest price. Luckily, on concerts we pay real price bying merch from bands. There is no difference between old and new albums. Sometimes, older ones cost more than new ones. Last Hammerfall album I bought here was Threshold and I payed it 20 euros. Luckily, one of my friends worked on Metal Camp in Slovenia this year so she bought me lat HF album for only 11 euros. Also, in 2004 I was in Austria and bought Iron Maiden-Dance Of Death for 9 euros. Here in stores same album today is 20 euros!
