 Re: Care of the hair?
Well, that's the problem, long hair suits me the best. Maybe a boyish haircut would suit me also well but I don't want look like a boy. Surprsingly my hair looks a little bit better since I'm using an other hair tie.

 Re: Care of the hair?
Well if you want to keep your hair in excellent shape I suggest you go and cut it every 6:th week. In 6 weeks your hair grows 1-2 cm so just cut half of what grows out and you'll have less problems with split ends and hair that still gets longer Another thing to do is to brush it both in the morning and in the evening and not wash it too often with shampoo and conditioner (3 times a week at maximum). That worked for me for 5 years and I was able to get hair with very good quality. Unfortunately I shaved it all off when I became vice-corporal a few days ago but I might save my hair in the future using the same technique

 Re: Care of the hair?
I had a real horror experience some weeks ago! I had really long hair but I hat to go to the hair dresser (which is a friend of my mom) to cut it a little bit. My Mom amd her barber-friend (it´s a she) asked me to cut a little bit more because I look boring (so they say!). And I was so stupid and told them they could do whatever they want if the won´t cut my hair too short. As I looked in the mirror when they were ready, I almost started to cry!!! My hair wa sbarely touching my shoulders!!!!!! I needed some weeks to get over it. For days I couldn´t look in a mirror without crying! Now my hair has grown a bit and it looks not as terrible as in the beginning. But I´m still very angry with my mom, ´cause she must have known how much my long hair means to me!!!

 Re: Care of the hair?
Oh, I can certainly understand that! In fact, something similar is why no one except my Mom has cut my hair for over 30 years now. Mine wasn't a haircut, it was a perm gone horribly horribly wrong. Burned my hair so that it was barely an inch long on top of my head. And then the stupid *$)#& actually expected me to pay and called the law when I refused. Something she didn't realize, though. My Dad was w/ the city PD. The officer who arrived was female, had known me since I was 12, and yeah, guess who didn't pay for a botched perm?
But that's one thing, hair does grow back. Lesson learned, however, no more perms for me, and no one but my Mom or myself does anything to my hair.

 Re: Care of the hair?
I had longer hair, but I just cut it off recently. I don't feel metal anymore. I mean, it was nice for concerts and all, but it just really annoyed me over anything else. I guess it isn't for me. It's not the hair that matters in metal, anyways! Though I do wish I would have waited to cut it after the Iron Maiden concert I'm going to this summer.

Looking metal is fine, but as long as you are metal in your heart, you don't need to look metal

 Re: Care of the hair?
I stopped taking care of my hair... I give up... I tried so hard to do something to it, but "it won't listen". Now my tips are splitted, I didn't cut my hair since the end of the May last year. And I don't mean to cut it. Once I had straight hair, but now it's sometimes straight, and sometimes my tips are all in curls. It's long, it gets to the half of my back and most of the time I just let it stay there naturally. I brush it before I go out and wash it with any shampoo I find in the house ca twice a week. I realised that's not too bad... Less care, and it doesn't look too bad after all
