 Hammerfall in India
Hammerfall is finally coming to India Jan 25th, 2010 - IIT Campus, Chennai. One of the reasons I picked up the guitar and started playing was because of the music of such bands as Iron Maiden and Hammerfall. And come the evening of Jan 25th - my band "Blood & Iron" will have the privilege of being one of 3 bands to open for Hammerfall and Skid Row \m/ Oscar, Anders, Joacim, Pontus and Fredric - If any of you are reading this I just want to say that it is going to be an honour opening the show for you guys. Do check us out when we're on stage - and maybe we can grab a few beers after the show. Cheers from India, Ashish

Hammerfall = Gods \m/
The lads exceeded my already stellar expectations for the show! Saw the entire show from the side lines... everything about them from their energy and stage presence screams Heavy Metal \m/
We look forward to having Hammerfall back in India soon \m/
Cheers

 Re: Hammerfall in India
Ok nice that you play in the opening band Is metal popular in India? Because except for Japan, Asia hasn't got that much of a metal history.

 Re: Hammerfall in India
@Andreas While metal is not exactly mainstream in India - there is a HUGE underground following. You have fans of the entire spectrum of metal. Ever since Maiden trailblazed their way to India, the flood gates have been thrown open with more and more bands playing a lot of successful shows here in India.

That review is also posted on the official HF page I think. Interesting, they played Templars of Steel and Legacy of Kings... WITHOUT ME!
