Sounds logical, but it would be better to not use the Introduction threads only for greetings. Because it makes no sense...

The introduction threads are so when a new person join we can get to know them a little if they say something ...

you can discuss what they introduced and evolve that into something, and offcourse welcome them here to the board.

But soon the discussions will fade like every thread...

and it is always nice to have someone to say hi to you

Hi guys (& ladies *wave to islane ),

IMO it's unnecessary to close the introduction-threads...just because a discussion board is "self-regulating". If there are no things to say to a toppic, it vanishes by time... and I don't know any new member who digs out a several year old introduction-thread, just to say hi.

By closing these toppics, longer discussions (like the "business-thread" or how it's called) are moved to the general discussion.

BTW: Please allow us to play our "spammish" games *looks like a dog at Ohtacaro*
