I'm afraid it might get out of hand in the CD buying-topic, so why don't we continue our discussion here?

I have to admit I did not listen Farewell to Saints that much, I'll give it a spin today.

I prefer Farewell to Saints over Cold Reality just because it has way better production (The drums actually sound like drums and the guitars have a bit of a kick) even though I too think that the songwriting (while still really good) took a tiny step backwards.

I think Cold reality also had at times some awful backing vocals.

So basically Farewell to Saints is less good album made better and Cold Reality is a bit better album performed and produced a lot worse.

It wouldn't be the first time that the first album of a band hasn't got too much of a production. But that song, Wildheart... brilliant.

It does have a fantastic outro and is quite good indeed but it ain't that good.

I use to skip the outro

Phew... Finally finished writing a review for Farewell To Saints.
It has been a while since I have written any review.

Also The band has finished the songwriting for the third album and is about to record it as soon as they have they get to an agreement with the record company (last time around it took a long while and doesn't seem too promising this time around either)
