Now that the Rockband network is up and running for independant artists to author and pulish their material; the question remains. When are Hammerfall going to pulish their tunes for us to enjoy in Rock Band? With a little time and effort it seems like a great way to advertise Hammerfall to a wider audience; make some extra cash and please their fans.

Would be good to know if Hammerfall are even considering the option, can't see why they wouldn't. It's a win win situation for everyone.

You are talking about the game Rock Band? I don't play Rock Band. Sometimes, when friends play Guitar Hero, I try my best to do the singing part. See that I can't sing as high as Joacim, it doesn't matter for me if Hammerfall is on Rock Band or not.

There is actually a HF forum you're missing, but that one's pretty much dead (Templars of Steel...). But this one isn't I never noticed your post, that's why I didn't reply.

But you never know. On Rebels With A Cause I saw two bandmembers playing Guitar Hero. So if they like it, there might be a slight chance that they'll publish those songs.

To answer your question: there was a forum called Templars of Steel but that one changed into metal oath instead. So this is the only HammerFall board.

On topic. I don't think HammerFall can decide if the game developers want to use HammerFall music in the Rock Band setlist. But they can get the question by the ones who develop and distribute the game and then HammerFall may say yes or no.

The Rockband network lets any band create the tracks and import them into the game and sell them for a profit. So actually; its entirely up to Hammerfall. Loads of bands have recently gained popularity through their tracks being released in Rock Band. Now any band can release their music on the Rock Band Network without hoping the developers suddenly notice them.

If Hammerfall want more revenue and a bigger audience then the Rock Band Network is definitely the way to go. They just need to load their master track recordings into the tools; create the matching play tracks and hey presto.

Would be nice if someone could pass it along to them in case they are un-aware of the opportunity; would hate to think Hammerfall were missing out on this.

It would be also cool to see one or two songs on Jamlegend. Official songs are better tracked than other which I have to upload myself.
