I just discovered this band (even though the album was released last year) and it sounds amazing!!!!!!!

2. This band is mostly familiar to the fans of Sonata Arctica and Stratovarius since it has Timo Kotipelto as the singer and Jani Liimatainen composing and playing guitars and such.
Also other quite big names included.

I think it is OK and worth checking.

For me, this was one of the biggest surprised of last year. I bought it as soon as it was released, and it has lots of elements I love to hear in metal music.

yes, I know! I´m a big Sonata fan and I like Strato. But I missed Cains Offering somehow......

I bought the Cain's Offering CD at ProgPower last year. It's really to light for my taste.
